Movie Night Fun- Down and Derby
Well, Friday night's Movie fund raiser at school
cafeteria was a success! We had about 60 or so kids
show up with parents. While the kids and Dads enjoyed
Down and Derby (mostly the Dads), the Moms had fun at
the Cookie Lee Jewelry show in the teachers
lounge. For those of you that did not attend, Down
and Derby is a Disney movie about how Dads always
seem to be more involved in the Pinewood Derby
race than the boys. I noticed that the parents
where laughing quite a bit more than the
kids. Could it be they recognized someone in the
movie? Maybe themselves? I know I saw a few guys in
there i knew (yes Joe, I am the guy with the plans).
We had so much fun with this fund raiser, we are
planning another one for the spring. See you
